That's right KA'S back and she's stolen #1 place! *Bootyshakes* Let me first say, no I am not in any way shape or form being biased. After a hell of a lot deliberation, the book I'm currently reading is all that came to mind. Picking a number #1 is one of the reasons I've left this so late, anything I tried to pick didn't have enough to be #1. I held off and decided to wait for R.L. Mathewson and KA to release their upcoming books, just to see if either of them were the one, otherwise I'd be kinda screwed. So first up, yes I am aware I said currently reading, I'm almost finished minions I assure you. With that being said what I've read so far is nothing short of KA awesomeness! I'm a lover of shifter and vampire romances, so give me two in one and I am a swoontastic mess. Abel is the perfect alpha hero, in fact I think he might be my KA favourite, and that is definitely saying something. I also adore Lilah, she's a witty, sweet and incredibly endearing heroine, who is 100% without a doubt perfect for Abel. Their chemistry is just full of raw intensity that leaves you breathless, and their passion is freaking scorching! Oh and I just love the cultural element KA's implemented throughout the novel, it's really got me wanting to learn Mandarin. It's pure heaven being reunited with my favorite characters again, Lucien. Leah, Callum and Sonia who I've actually missed terribly minions. Of course as with any KA book, the writing style is flawless and she keeps you hooked on for every second. I work 45 hours a week people, so you can imagine my struggle to put this down and actually work, sleep, eat and just basically function as a human. I've been in love with the Three series from the very beginning, and my impatience for the final installment has been excruciating. But it's finally here on my Kindle, and I'm enjoying every damn second of it! Yes I will most definitely be posting a long review soon, which will be on the Reviews page HERE, as well as on Goodreads. If you've yet to pick up this read, don't delay further people cause you will regret it. Or if you've missed the juicy deets then chill, cause I got your back peeps. Shame on you for not knowing this fabulous woman, you can never truly call yourself a book junkie without being a super KA fan. Just stating facts. Pic, bio and links below... Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana, and has lived in Denver, Colorado, and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multigenerational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland, and Kristen grew up listening to the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon, and Whitesnake. Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better. Website | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads |
